A renowned restaurant chain requested a Lalique inspired arrangement for a major event. An edition of coasters with rods with one nuance ... We were given crystal fish, the silicone molds of which had to be made. Lollypop fishes must be placed on the top of each rod. At the same time, initially there was no hole in the fish for fixing on the rod, but we managed. As a master model for making a silicone mold for lollipops, original crystal fish were used, which were provided by the customer.

With the stand, things were a little more complicated. We decided to cast coasters from fast curing liquid plastic.

We made 3D model and printed it on a 3D printer. We would never got glossy finish without post-processing. Therefore, the master model was treated with a finishing compound, carefully sanded and molded. Liquid plastic perfectly conveyed the texture of the silicone mold and the surface turned out to be glossy. It remains only to securely glue the rods and the order is ready.
